Coil elements plug into a receptacle under the drip pan. They fail open or shorted, and a burned receptacle can take a new element out with it, so inspect both before replacing.
Appliance part
Spark Module
The spark module sends high voltage to each igniter.
When it fails, burners stop clicking or click continuously, and the fault is often shared across all burners rather than one.
Symptoms of a failed spark module
- No clicking at any burner
- Continuous clicking with the knobs off
- Weak or intermittent spark
Fitment
Modules differ in the number of outputs and connector style; match the model and burner count.
Before you buy
Confirm the model and serial plate before ordering — two parts can look identical and still not fit. If you would rather not fit it yourself, request a repair quote and we will route it to an independent technician.
