Parts fitment follows platforms, not badges. These hubs explain who owns each brand, which brands share components, and where to find the model plate before ordering.

Why the badge is not enough
Whirlpool Corporation builds Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana and Roper on shared platforms. Electrolux Group owns Frigidaire. Haier owns GE Appliances and Fisher & Paykel. Kenmore models were built by several manufacturers over the years. In every case, the model number on the rating plate is what identifies the correct part.
